Interactive Map Maker

Click the map to pin locations, give each pin a label and colour, connect them into a route, then export a PNG image or copy a share link. Everything runs locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

No pins yet — click anywhere on the map to add one.

How It Works

The map is rendered with vector tiles using the MapLibre GL engine (the open-source core of Mapbox GL JS), so it stays crisp at every zoom level and adapts automatically to light and dark mode.

Building your map
  • Add a pin: with Add Pins active, click or tap anywhere on the map. Each pin uses the currently selected marker colour.
  • Label a pin: type into the label field in the Pins list below — labels appear directly on the map.
  • Recolour a pin: select it in the list, then pick a new colour with the colour swatch.
  • Draw a route: turn on Connect route to link every pin, in the order you placed them, with a line.
  • Move around: drag to pan and scroll (or pinch) to zoom — panning never drops a pin.
Exporting & sharing
  • Export PNG: downloads exactly what you see — base map, markers, labels and route — as a PNG image.
  • Copy Share Link: encodes every pin, colour, label, the route state and the current view into the page URL. Anyone opening that link sees the same map.

All processing happens on your device. No locations, labels or images are ever sent to a server.
